Collaboration opportunity: Sports medicine historians needed

In 2028 De Vereniging voor Sportgeneeskunde (VSG) will celebrate 100 years of sports medicine in the Netherlands. The VSG is aiming to develop a range of historical activities to celebrate this anniversary, working in collaboration with professorship in Medical and Nursing History at VU Amsterdam and the MA in Public History at the University of Amsterdam. The team is looking for researchers working on the history of sports medicine and/or sports history to join the project for a number of activities, including funding applications for a book project, research and writing for various platforms, and oral history interviewing. As full funding has not yet been secured, the team is especially interested in applicants who can use the project activities to advance their own research and those with interest in/experience of grant-writing.
