Moved to Care: Stories of Nursing and Migration ((online) talk)
Thursday 5 March 2026, 5 – 8pm (talks and online event from 6pm)
Book to attend in person or online here.
Join the Royal College of Nursing for the launch of a new exhibition exploring stories of migration in the history of nursing. From the colonial legacy of missionary nurses in the nineteenth century to the Windrush Generation, migration has had a huge influence on healthcare today. Hear from activists, artists and nursing pioneers about how migration has shaped their lives and work. There will be plenty of time to look around the exhibition and participate in activities on migration and care with the RCN and Migration Museum teams. Talk and online event starts shortly after 6pm. There will be a separate room available for attendees who need to break their fast, and light refreshments will be provided.
