The Ca’ Foscari University of Venice organises a series of seven webinars this spring on plants in early modern knowledge. The sixth one, on May 19, is given by Jaya Remond (Bibliotheca Hertziana – Max Planck Institute for Art History in Rome), and is entitled “Pictures from the field: Observing and depicting nature in the Tropical Atlantic c. 1700″.
