Wellcome PhD seminar: Patient voice and lived experience

The Wellcome Collection is organising three online ‘Dissertation Inspiration’ sessions this month. These sessions are aimed at early career researchers including those studying or planning to study PhD’s. The sessions feature an agenda of speakers, including early career researchers who have worked with Wellcome Collection and will cover a wide range of research.

• 15th February, Epidemics and Infectious Disease explored how infectious diseases have been understood across different time periods and cultural contexts.
• 18th February, Interrogating Colonial Collections explored the colonial legacies that exist in the Wellcome collections.
• 24th February, Patient Voice and Lived Experience will focus on unearthing the perspectives of people with lived experience of illness in the Wellcome collections.
