KU Leuven Health Humanities Lecture Series

The Leuven Interdisciplinary Platform for the Study of the Sciences offers their annual Health Humanities Lecture Series online this semester. Two lectures seem to be of particular interest to medical historians:

  • May 6, Sara Scalenghe: Photography, Disability, and European Colonialism
  • May 20, Pratik Chakrabarti: Heading towards new India! The Lost Causes of Indian Primary Healthcare

Other lectures on the programme, that runs from January to May, offer perspectives from ethics, philosophy and anthropology. Video’s of past lectures are made available online. For more information and registration see the KU Leuven website.
