Symposium “What war does to people” at TU Kampen

The Theologische Universiteit Kampen will hold the symposium “What war does to people. Moral Injury and spiritual care in the armed forces past and present” on October 14 in Utrecht.

The symposium will focus on the figure of the military chaplain and how they helped military personnel cope with ‘moral wounds’: when soldiers have to make choices against their conscience, which results in feelings of guilt and shame, of anger and of betrayal. The symposium will be in Dutch.
